Turkish economic confidence index rises by 3.5% in April
According to a statement released by the Turkish Statistical Institute on Thursday, the Economic Confidence Index for April increased by 3.5% to 102.2, up from 98.8 in March.
The Consumer Confidence Index also saw a significant increase of 9.2%, reaching 87.5. The Real Sector Confidence Index, which pertains to the manufacturing industry, increased by 1.0% and reached 105.1, while the Services Confidence Index saw an increase of 1.1% and reached 118.1 in April compared to the previous month.
However, the Retail Trade Confidence Index saw a decline of 1.3% and became 116.2, while the Construction Confidence Index decreased by 0.1% and reached 88.4 in April. (ILKHA)
