Iranian Foreign Minister congratulates Hamas leader on Eid al-Fitr, reiterates support for Palestinian cause
Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, congratulated Hamas' political bureau chief, Ismail Haniyeh, and the Palestinian people on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr in a recent phone call.
During the conversation, Amir-Abdollahian emphasized the importance of the Islamic Revolution Leader's message regarding the issue of Palestine and reaffirmed Iran's unwavering moral and political support for the Palestinian cause.
Haniyeh, in turn, congratulated the Iranian government and people on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr and extended his warm greetings to Iran's Supreme Leader and President.
He also expressed the determination of the Palestinian factions and people to continue resisting the zionist occupation's attacks in Jerusalem.
Furthermore, Haniyeh welcomed the recent agreement between Iran and Saudi Arabia, describing it as beneficial for both nations and the region as a whole. He added that the zionist entity was certainly not pleased with the agreement. (ILKHA)
