The Prophet's Lovers Foundation releases a message on the occasion of Laylat al-Qadr
The Prophet's Lovers Foundation has released a statement on the occasion of Laylat al Qadr, also known as the Night of Power.
This night marks the revelation of the first verses of the Holy Qur’an to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by Angel Jibrail.
The foundation has called on all Muslims to pray for the deliverance of all oppressed Muslims during Laylat al-Qadr, which is considered the most sacred night in the Islamic calendar.
Ahmet Ural, one of the spokesmen for the foundation, read out the message, which began with the expression of gratitude to Allah, and followed by sending peace and blessings to the Prophet, his family, and all his companions.
Ural quoted Surah Al-Qadr from the Holy Quran, saying, "Verily, We have sent down the Quran in the Night of Power. And what will make you know what the Night of Power is? The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. Therein descend the angels and the Spirit by their Lord's permission for every affair. Peace it is until the emergence of dawn."
Ural also mentioned that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever establishes Optional Night Salah on the night of Qadr (Night of power) in sincere faith and hoping for Allah's Reward, Allah shall erase his previous sins."
He praised Allah and expressed gratitude for leading Muslims to the Night of Qadr, which is superior to 1,000 months.
“The Night of Qadr is significant as it marks the revelation of the Quran, which is the final message of Allah to humanity through the Prophet,” he noted.

He emphasized the importance of praying for the salvation of oppressed Muslims, particularly those in Jerusalem, who have been subjected to various forms of injustices and oppression.
Ural urged Muslims to unite and pray for unity among themselves, regardless of their worldly interests and differences.
Ural concluded the message by wishing all Muslims a blessed Night of Qadr and sending his greetings to the nation and the Islamic world.
What is Laylat al-Qadr?
Laylat al-Qadr, also known as the Night of Power or Night of Decree, is a significant night in the Islamic faith.
