Kocaeli City Hospital to be inaugurated today
The Kocaeli City Hospital, with a bed capacity of 1,218 and covering an area of 368,000 square meters, is set to open on Saturday.

The hospital will include 218 clinics, 188 intensive care beds, 30 dialysis beds, and 63 operating rooms.
President Erdogan had previously announced that they will establish one city hospital in each metropolitan city, and the Kocaeli City Hospital is the latest addition to this effort.
The President also mentioned that they use the build-operate-transfer model for city hospitals, and there are also education hospitals, which are a lower segment of city hospitals.
In addition to Kocaeli, he said that they plan to open İzmir City Hospital soon and expand these city hospitals further. (ILKHA)
