Agriculture-PPI (2015=100) on the previous month increased by 1.79%, on December of the previous year increased by 20.51%, on same month of the previous year increased by 106.77% and on the twelve months moving averages basis increased by 142.37% in March 2023.

Compared to the previous month in sectors; products of agriculture, hunting and related services increased by 1.64%, forestry products and related services increased by 3.96% and fishing products and other fishing products increased by 6.72%. Regarding monthly changes by main groups; non-perennial crops decreased by 3.51%, perennial crops increased by 4.57% and live animals and animal products increased by 7.22%.

Compared to general Agriculture-PPI, lower annual change observed in 6 subgroups while 5 subgroups were higher

Fibre plants with 21.55% and cereal (except rice), leguminous crops and oil seeds with 68.88% were the subgroups that indicated low annual increase. On the other hand, citrus fruits with 174.94% and oleaginous fruits with 173.85% were the subgroups where high annual increases realized.

Compared to general Agriculture-PPI, lower monthly change observed in 5 subgroups while 6 subgroups were higher

Other tree and bush fruits and nuts with 28.66% and vegetables and melons, roots and tubers with 7.40% were the subgroups that indicated high monthly decrease. On the other hand, poultry, live and eggs with 11.49% and sheep and goats, live; raw milk and shorn wool from sheep and goats with 10.81% were the subgroups that indicated high monthly increase.
