Retail sales volume in Türkiye rises by 21.5% on annual basis
Retail sales volume with constant prices increased by 21.5% in February compared with the same month of previous year, the Turkish Statistical Institute said in a statement on Wednesday.

In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 24.3%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales increased by 24.5%, automotive fuel sales increased by 7.8%.

Retail sales volume with constant prices decreased by 6.5% February 2023 compared with the previous month.
In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales decreased by 0.3%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales decreased by 8.7%, automotive fuel sales decreased by 8.8%.
Retail turnover increased by 93.4% on annual basis
Retail turnover with current prices increased by 93.4% in February 2023 compared with the same month of previous year.
In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 113.1%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales increased by 99.1%, automotive fuel sales increased by 47.6%.
Retail turnover decreased by 5.5% on monthly basis
Retail turnover with current prices decreased by 5.5% February 2023 compared with the previous month.
In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 2.1%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales decreased by 8.3%, automotive fuel sales decreased by 8.6%. (ILKHA)
