Recently, the organization provided clothing assistance to numerous children in need in Bujumbura, the former capital and largest city of Burundi.

Nizamettin Aygan, a volunteer for the European Orphan Eli, expressed his appreciation for the two kind sisters from Mersin who generously donated clothing for over one hundred children.

Aygan highlighted the significance of dressing orphans in Islam and how the act of sharing is considered a noble deed.

“May Allah be pleased with our donors. Because there is no better deed in Islam than dressing an orphan. As a matter of fact, our Prophet was an orphan and he used to care about orphans. Also, Holy Quran has laid great emphasis on uplifting the lives of orphans. In Islam, sharing is considered a very noble good deed, and every good deed done during the month of Ramadan will be rewarded manifold,” Aygan said.

In addition to hosting iftar dinners during Ramadan in various regions of Burundi, European Orphan Hand will be engaged in several other charitable activities such as distributing clothing, food, and cash aid.

Moreover, the organization will provide meat to the less fortunate individuals from the animals that have been sacrificed and donated by philanthropists. (ILKHA)
