Russian President Putin holds phone call with his Uzbek counterpart
Russia’s President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
“The presidents discussed pressing issues of bilateral relations, including measures to expand mutually beneficial cooperation in trade and the economy. They reaffirmed mutual interest in the further comprehensive strengthening of the Russian-Uzbekistani strategic partnership and alliance,” Kremlin said in a statement
It was agreed to maintain contacts at various levels, according to the statement. (ILKHA)
