Hamas leader meets Secretary General of Hezbollah in Beirut
The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, on Sunday received a delegation from the Hamas Movement led by its Political Bureau Chairman Ismail Haneyya in Beirut.
The two parties discussed the latest developments including the Israeli attacks against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the escalating resistance activities in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
They affirmed their willingness and readiness to cooperate in confronting the Israeli escalation in the region.
The Hamas delegation included the deputy head of the Movement’s Political Bureau, Saleh al-Arouri.
Earlier on Thursday, Haneyya met with the secretaries-general of the Palestinian resistance factions in Beirut and discussed the latest israeli attacks against the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Haneyya held zionist occupation regime responsible for the repercussions of assaulting Palestinian worshippers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, calling on the Palestinian resistance factions to unite while confronting the Israeli occupation. (ILKHA)
