Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the opening ceremony of multiple projects in the Pendik district of Istanbul.
During the ceremony, he extended his congratulations for Ramadan and offered prayers for those who lost their lives in the recent earthquakes that hit Kahramanmaraş and its neighboring cities. He also wished for a quick recovery for the injured.
Erdoğan mentioned that they were making efforts to complete the construction of the post-earthquake houses quickly and deliver them to their rightful owners.
He further offered prayers for the citizens struggling with the disaster, the Palestinian brothers and sisters defending the al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Yemeni brothers and sisters who are facing difficulties during Ramadan.
Additionally, he prayed for the expatriates who defend their faith despite discrimination and pressure. (ILKHA)
