Armed groups kill at least 44 civilians in the north of Burkina Faso
At least 44 people were killed by armed groups in multiple attacks in northern Burkina Faso, the government said Saturday.
The attacks were carried out on Kourakou and Tondobi villages in Seno province, said Lt. Col. P.F Rodolphe Sorgho, governor of the Sahel region in a statement.
Sorgho described the attacks on Thursday and Friday as “despicable and barbaric” and said the government was stabilizing the area. He also called on people to remain calm. (ILKHA)
