Iranian foreign minister holds phone conversation with his Azerbaijani counterpart
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhoun Bayramov held two rounds of intensive talks about the current developments in bilateral ties between Baku and Tehran and some regional issues.
In these candid and transparent conversations, Amirabdollahin and Bayramov exchanged views over the existing differences and misunderstandings and explored ways of getting out of the current situation.
The two foreign ministers further stressed the need for respecting good neighborly relations as well as the sovereignty and territorial integrity of both countries. Referring to the plot of the Zionist regime against the unity, security and progress of regional nations, Amirabdollahian said only enemies would benefit from disputes between countries of the region.
The two top diplomats also underlined the necessity of controlling the media atmosphere in favor of the interests of the two nations. (ILKHA)
