Pakistan releases more than 200 Afghan inmates
208 Afghan inmates who were released by Pakistan have returned to Kabul, according to the Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
The prisoners were freed as a result of efforts made by the Afghan Embassy in Islamabad and the Consulate General in Karachi, the ministry noted.
Officials have stated that over 2,000 Afghan nationals who were incarcerated in Pakistan have been released since the establishment of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. (ILKHA)
