“During my visit to Turkey, I had the opportunity to go with my Turkish counterpart, Mr. Hulusi Akar, to a hospital in the area and to be informed by the doctors about the progress of the health of the injured. I also visited the temporary accommodation of residents,” Panagiotopoulos wrote on Twitter.
In a joint press conference, Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said “Greece was one of the first countries to offer humanitarian aid to Türkiye after the February 6 earthquakes and made significant contributions to the search and rescue efforts in the quake zones.” (ILKHA)
