Man kills five members of his family in eastern Türkiye
A man in the eastern province of Elazığ shot five of his relatives dead after an argument with them, later killing himself, police said.
The incident occurred on Ümran street in the Salıbaba neighborhood on Friday afternoon, according to local reports.
Hüseyin Fırat, a Deputy Director of Alacakaya District Teacher's House, had an argument with his family for an unknown reason in their house. After the argument, Fırat shot dead his relatives with the shotgun he brought with him. Later, Fırat killed himself with the last bullet.
Police officers arrived at the house and found six people lying dead on the floor.
The bodies of the victims were taken to the Forensic Institute Morgue of Elazığ for autopsy. (ILKHA)
