S-PPI (2017=100) increased by 1.63% on monthly basis, by 17.45% on December of the previous year basis, by 78.86% on same month of the previous year basis and by 89.81% on the twelve months moving averages basis in February 2023.

Transportation and storage services increased by 72.53% annually

The indices increased by 72.53% for transportation and storage services, by 92.97% for accommodation and food services, by 73.11% for information and communication services, by 78.39% for real estate services, by 95.48% for professional, scientific and technical services, by 84.69% for administrative and support services compared with the previous year.

Transportation and storage services decreased by 0.33% monthly

The indices decreased by 0.33% for transportation and storage services, increased by 3.28% for accommodation and food services, increased by 6.47% for information and communication services, decreased by 0.40% for real estate services, increased by 4.08% for professional, scientific and technical services, increased by 2.58% for administrative and support services compared with the previous month.

Compared to general S-PPI, lower annual change observed in 9 subdivisions while 18 subdivisions were higher

The lowest rates of annual increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were the indices for water transport services by 27.00%, for telecommunications services by 50.75%, for rental and leasing services by 55.01%. On the other hand, the highest rates of annual increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were indices for employment services by 127.25%, for advertising and market research services by 127.11%, for programming and broadcasting services by 122.94%.

Compared to general S-PPI, lower monthly change observed in 14 subdivisions while 13 subdivisions were higher

The highest rates of monthly decrease in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were the indices for air transport services by 7.46%, for scientific research and development services by 2.38%, for travel agency, tour operator and other reservation services and related services by 2.05%. On the other hand, the highest rates of monthly increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were indices for programming and broadcasting services by 12.19%, for employment services by 11.92%, for computer programming, consultancy and related services by 10.95%.
