Sheikh Sabri holds zionist regime responsible for any tension in Jerusalem
Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, head of the Higher Islamic Council in Occupied Jerusalem, has held the zionist occupation government responsible for any escalation or tension that may happen in Jerusalem and at the Aqsa Mosque.
In recent press remarks, Sheikh Sabri applauded Muslim worshipers for rallying around the Aqsa Mosque and their massive presence in its buildings and courtyards on Friday.
The Jerusalemite figure expressed his rejection of the zionist regime’s security minister Itamar Ben Gvir’s recent threat to ban Muslims from praying at the Mosque in the last 10 days of the holy month of Ramadan.
He affirmed that “watching large numbers of Muslims praying at the Aqsa Mosque was heartwarming, but it enraged the enemies who do not like seeing such numbers and massive presence of Muslims at the holy site.” (ILKHA)
