At least 36 injured as more than 40 vehicles involved in highway pile-up in Hungary
At least 36 people were injured when 42 vehicles were involved in a horrific chain-collision on the M1 motorway near Budapest, the capital of Hungary

According to initial reports, out of a total of 42 vehicles that participated in the accident, 19 cars, 1 van, and the cab of a truck were completely burnt.
Authorities have closed traffic in both directions on the highway to facilitate response operations.
36 people were injured in the accident, one of whom was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. (ILKHA)
