A humanitarian aid campaign that was initiated by Hope Caravan Foundation, European Orphan Hand, Orphans Foundation, and IHO EBRAR to aid people who were struck by the deadly earthquake in southern Türkiye and northern Syria continues in full swing.

A delegation of the Islamic Circle of North America led by Dr. Imam Hamid Slimi visited the coordinator center of Hope Caravan Foundation and met with earthquake-affected people in Adıyaman.

Stating that they brought humanitarian aid materials to Turkish earthquake victims, Dr. Imam Hamid Slimi, said: “We are here on behalf of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), to come and assess the situation and also see some of the help that's our people, Muslim community in North America, and especially in Canada have sent. They have been very generous. They saw the images. We were very shocked. We're still with mixed feelings. Sadness, but also, we are hopeful, especially you have an organization, like yours that gives hope to the people to the victims. Alhamdulillah, we have Allah and we put our trust in Allah, Allah knows best. And so long as we have people Who care people like yourselves and ourselves. Then inshallah there is a khayr (goodness) in the future.”

“We would encourage everyone around the world to help these people. Devastation is unbelievable. The amount of damage is beyond our belief. None of us have it, you know, assured hundred percent. So we should feel for our brothers and sisters who are, you know, suffering the loss of their loved ones and also the loss of their homes and everything,” Slimi added.
