Türkiye strongly condemns zionist regime’s assault on Jenin and the killing of six Palestinians
Turkish Foreign Ministry has issued a press release regarding the increased aggression and acts of violence in the West Bank.
“We condemn in the strongest terms the increased aggression and acts of violence by the israeli forces and israeli settlers in the West Bank,” the Ministry said.
The Ministry went on to say: “Today’s attack by the israeli forces targeting the Jenin refugee camp, which resulted in the death of seven Palestinians, and the acts of violence and intimidation by Israeli settlers against the Palestinian residents of the town of Huwara in the West Bank are unacceptable.”
“These increased attacks and actions feed the spiral of violence, further escalating the tension in the region, and most importantly, damage the international efforts aiming at de-escalating tension, at a period when the holy month of Ramadan is approaching,” the Ministry underscored.
The Ministry also reiterated Ankara’s calls for putting an end to these attacks and preventing violence and invites the zionist occupation regime to act with common sense and responsibility. (ILKHA)
