Magnitude 5.8 earthquake strikes Philippines
A magnitude-5.8 earthquake struck the Philippines early afternoon on Tuesday, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).

The quake hit at a shallow depth of 10 km beneath the epicenter near Magugpo Poblacion, Davao, Philippines, the EMSC said.
