Hope Caravan organizes kermis to collect aid for earthquake victims
Hope Caravan Foundation (Umut Kervanı Vakfı) organized a kermis to collect aid for the victims of the devastating earthquake that killed more than 50,000 people in Türkiye and Syria.
The HÜDA PAR district president Halil Talayhan, the district governor and acting mayor Ercan Kayabaşı, the district director of national education Ümit Çetin, and the district mufti Hasan Yeşildal attended the kermis, which was held in front of the Zeynel Abidin Mosque in the Nusaybin district of southeastern Mardin province.
Young children exhibited exemplary behavior by donating their pocket money and piggy banks to Umut Kervanı to be sent to earthquake victims.
Selman Kardaş, the representative of Hope Caravan (Umut Kervanı) Nusaybin, stated that they contributed even a little bit by organizing a kermis for the earthquake victims with the support of philanthropists.
"As Hope Caravan (Umut Kervanı) Nusaybin, we are organizing a kermis for earthquake victims. Our people bring food prepared by their own means, and we sell it to extend a helping hand to our brothers and sisters in the earthquake zone. May Allah be pleased with everyone who contributed. As Umut Kervanı, we are always with the earthquake victims and needy families, and we will continue to be with them, God willing," he said. (ILKHA)
