A 4.0 earthquake occurs in central Syria
An earthquake of magnitude 4.0 jolts Homs Governorate in central Syria on Sunday morning, Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on its website.
The earthquake occurred at around 09:25 TSI, with its epicenter at a latitude of 34.542 degrees north and a longitude of 38.174 degrees east, and at a depth of 5.91 km.
On February 6, a 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck southern Turkey and northern Syria, killing more than 56,000 people. (ILKHA)
