Speaking to Ilke News Agency regarding their humanitarian aid effort in Malatya, one of the provinces hardest hit by the Feb. 6 earthquake, Cengiz Kurtaran, the head of Hope Caravan Foundation, said: "We are currently at the eastern garage in the center of Malatya. We are distributing lunch in our central kitchen. Our brothers and sisters in the tent cities meet their food needs here. As Umut Kervanı, we serve the meals we prepare at our central kitchen to earthquake victims in 5 different locations. We especially provide meals to thousands of people in front of the education and research hospital. We thank all the benefactors who contributed to this service reaching our brothers and sisters. Inshallah, with the support of our benefactors, we will continue our services during this long process. There are also seating areas where earthquake victims can eat their meals here. We also have a separate section for cooking. Inshallah, we will continue to expand and continue this service." (ILKHA)
