Afghanistan appoints new diplomats to consulate general in Istanbul
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has appointed new diplomats to the country’s consulate general in Turkey’s Istanbul city.
“Apart from the fact that the diplomatic relations of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan with the Republic of Turkey are of special importance, the presence of thousands of Afghan refugees in Istanbul increases the importance of this city and encourages the representatives of the Afghan government to transparently provide all necessary services,” the Ministry said in a statement.
