Afghanistan appoints new charge d'affaires to Tehran embassy
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has appointed a new charge d’ affairs and diplomats to the Afghan embassy in Iran, the ministry said in a statement on Monday.
The statement said that the activities of the Afghan embassy in Tehran will continue after introducing the new charge d’ affairs and diplomats in Tehran with a strong commitment to serving the honorable citizens of the two countries.
The ministry added that new appointments in diplomatic missions are an administrative norm and the legitimate right of every country.
“We have full confidence that with the new appointments, we will see transparency in the affairs of the embassy and further improvement of relations in various fields between the two Islamic neighbors,” the statement concluded. (ILKHA)
