Turkish President holds phone call with his Ukrainian counterpart
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone call with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine on Friday.
The call addressed the earthquakes in Türkiye and the developments regarding the Russia-Ukraine war, which started a year ago, according to the Turkish presidency.
Erdoğan thanked President Zelenskyy for displaying solidarity with Türkiye over the earthquakes.
Erdoğan stated that Türkiye stood ready to provide any kind of contribution it could to shape peace and produce a solution based on ceasefire and negotiations in the Russia-Ukraine war, which entered its second year. (ILKHA)
