Hope Caravan delivers stoves donated by an Indonesian charity to earthquake-affected people in southern Türkiye
Hope Caravan Foundation has provided earthquake-affected people with stoves, which were donated by Wahdah Inspirasi Zakat, an Indonesia-based humanitarian aid organization, in Türkiye’s southern Hatay province.
The humanitarian aid campaign that was launched by Hope Caravan Foundation, European Orphan Hand, Orphans Foundation, and IHO EBRAR to aid people who were affected by the deadly earthquake in southern Türkiye and northern Syria continues in full swing.
Speaking to Ilke News Agency regarding their charitable efforts in the earthquake-stricken areas, Necip Öner, the representative of Hope Caravan in Hatay, said that they handed out the stoves which were donated by Wahdah Inspirasi Zakat to earthquake victims in İskenderun district.
“We are in the Iskenderun district of Hatay, which was heavily affected by the earthquake. We distributed the stoves donated by our philanthropists from Indonesia to families in need. May Allah be pleased with them,” Öner said.
“We are currently in the winter season. There is no stove in the tents, there is a heating problem. Many families have small children. We expect stove and heating aid from our benefactors to warm our children,” Öner added.
Öner also thanked the representatives of Wahdah Inspirasi Zakat in Türkiye, Muhammad Ikhwan Jalil and Limpah Kurnia, for their donation. (ILKHA)
