Türkiye’s agricultural input price index sees a 103-percent annual increase
Agricultural input price index (Agricultural-IPI) increased by 103.14% annually and by 0.72% monthly, the Turkish Statistical Institute said in a statement on Tuesday.
Agriculture-IPI (2015=100) increased by 0.72% compared to previous month, increased by 103.14% compared to December of the previous year, increased by 103.14% compared to same month of the previous year and increased by 116.26% compared to twelve months moving averages, in December 2022.
Monthly changes by main groups, goods and services currently consumed in agricultural index increased by 0.33% and goods and services contributing to agricultural investment index increased by 3.64%. The goods and services contributing to agricultural investment index increased by 94.35% and the goods and services currently consumed in agricultural index increased by 104.42% compared to same month of the previous year.
Compared to general Agricultural-IPI, lower annual change observed in 7 subgroups while 4 subgroups were higher
Subgroups that indicated low increase were veterinary expenses with 33.98% and maintenance of materials with 42.63%. On the other hand, maintenance of buildings with 120.60% and animal feedingstuffs with 117.81% were the subgroups that high annual increase realized.
Compared to general Agricultural-IPI, lower monthly change observed in 3 subgroups while 8 subgroups were higher
Energy; lubricants with 8.19% and fertilizer and soil improvers with 1.87% were the subgroups that indicated high monthly decrease. On the other hand, materials with 4.49% and animal feedingstuffs with 3.41% were the subgroups that high monthly increase realized. (ILKHA)
