Kurdish charities send over 32 trucks of humanitarian aid to earthquake-stricken areas
Kurdistan Region’s Islamic charities have sent over 32 trucks of humanitarian aid to Turkey and Syria where the 7.8 magnitude earthquake killed more than 41,000 people.
Kurdistan Islamic Union, an Islamic party in Iraqi Kurdistan, organized the humanitarian aid campaign through four help organizations in the region.
The aid collected during the campaign was handed over to IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation at the border crossing on the Türkiye-Iraq border.
The foundation will distribute the aid to earthquake-affected people in southern Türkiye and northern Syria. (ILKHA)
