Türkiye earthquake: 8-year-old boy and his mother rescued from rubble 102 hours after earthquake
An eight-year-old boy and his mother were rescued from under the rubble after being trapped for nearly 102 hours in Türkiye following the devastating earthquake.
Rescue workers pulled out Yiğit and his mother from the rubble in the Kırıkhan district of southern Hatay, local sources reported.
While search and rescue efforts for potential victims in the area continue, the two survivors have been rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to Turkish officials, thousands of people have been rescued so far and more than 120,000 rescue personnel assist with the efforts. (ILKHA)
