Family of three rescued alive from debris 73 hours after Türkiye’s devastating earthquake
Rescuers have pulled a family of three from the rubble of a collapsed building in the Onikişubat district of southern Kahramanmaraş province — about 73 hours after devastating earthquakes hit southern Türkiye and Syria.
Search and rescue teams are working against time to recover survivors from the rubble despite harsh winter conditions.
The Rescue team from Isparta and Sakarya Municipality pulled Ali Bağış,55, his wife Zelal,40, and their daughter Mir Berzan Bağış,5, from the rubble.
The footage showed three of the survivors being carried on stretchers.
In the 7.8 magnitude earthquake, at least 12,863 people have been killed in Türkiye with 62,937 injured, and in northern Syria death toll rose to 2,992. (ILKHA)
