Hope Caravan distributes hot soup to earthquake-affected people in Şanlıurfa
Hope Caravan Foundation, an international help organization, has distributed hot soup and food aid to thousands of people who were affected by the devastating earthquake in Türkiye’s southeastern Şanlıurfa province.
“We were shaken by a sudden great earthquake. There is destruction in 10 provinces in our region. Of course, Urfa was affected by this earthquake. There is also great destruction in Şanlıurfa. We have been on the field with our members and volunteers since the time of the earthquake. We distribute hot soup and also try to help people with housing. Some of our members also participate in the rescue efforts to save people trapped beneath the rubble,” said Mahmut Çelik, the head of Şanlıurfa Hope Caravan.
Çelik also called for immediate support for those affected by the 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck Türkiye and Syria. (ILKHA)
