At least 66 aftershocks occur after deadly earthquake in southeastern Türkiye
At least 66 aftershocks struck southeastern Türkiye and the surrounding region after the deadly magnitude 7.4 earthquakes, the country's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) said.
At least 500 people were killed after the powerful 7.4-magnitude earthquake hit Türkiye and Syria early Monday.
Many buildings collapsed in the earthquake that was felt as far away as the island of Cyprus and Egypt.
The quake hit at 04:17 a.m. local time (01:17 a.m. GMT) at a depth of about 17.9 kilometers (11 miles). (ILKHA)
