Twitter set to charge $1,000 per month from businesses for gold badges
The Elon Musk-run company has allegedly told businesses to pay $1,000 per month for retaining gold badges.

“Twitter is reportedly emailing businesses offering gold check mark verification for $1000 PER MONTH! And affiliate account verification for $50 each per month,” social media consultant Matt Navarra tweeted.
Twitter reps did not respond to a request for comment.
The gold checkmark indicates that the account is an official business account through Twitter Verification for Organizations. (ILKHA)
