A 4.6 magnitude earthquake jolts southern Turkey
The 4.6 magnitude quake hit the Düziçi district of Turkey’s southern Osmaniye province, Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on its website.
The earthquake occurred at around 14:05 TSI, with its epicenter at a latitude of 37.208 degrees north and a longitude of 36.403 degrees east, and at a depth of 7 km.
The tremor was felt in nearby provinces, including Adana, Kilis, Gaziantep, Mersin, and Kahramanmaraş.
There were no immediate reports of damages or casualties after the earthquake. (ILKHA)
