Türkiye condemns “heinous” attack targeting mosque in Pakistan’s Peshawar
Turkish Foreign Ministry has issued a press release regarding the attack targeting a mosque in Pakistan's northwestern city of Peshawar.
“We are deeply saddened to learn that many civilians lost their lives and were injured in the terrorist attack targeting a mosque in the city of Peshawar in Pakistan today (30 January),” the Ministry said.
“We condemn this heinous terrorist act in the strongest possible terms. We wish Allah's mercy upon those who lost their lives; extend our condolences to the friendly and brotherly people and Government of Pakistan, and wish speedy recovery to the injured,” the ministry added.
Earlier on Monday, at least 37 people have been killed and 147 injured in an explosion at a mosque in the Pakistani city of Peshawar. (ILKHA)
