Two Iranian police officers killed in Sistan-Baluchistan
At least two police officers were killed and a third officer was injured in an armed attack in Sistan and Baluchistan province in southeastern Iran early Tuesday, Iranian officials said.

“The attack took place in the city of Bampour at 2 a.m. local time when unknown gunmen targeted a group of police officers on patrol,” said Mohammad Ghanbari, Sistan-Baluchistan’s police chief.
Ghanbari noted that a special team of detectives had been formed to investigate the attack and arrest those responsible. (ILKHA)
