Turkish consumer confidence up in January—statistical agency
The consumer confidence index increased to 79.1 this month, up from 75.6 in December, the Turkish Statistical Institute said in a statement on Monday.
The consumer confidence index calculated from the results of the consumer tendency survey carried out in cooperation with the Turkish Statistical Institute and Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye increased by 4.6% in January compared to the previous month.
The index became 79.1 in January while it was 75.6 in December. (ILKHA)
