Turkish competition authority launches investigation into Tetra Laval Holding & Finance SA
The Turkish Competition Authority decided to launch an investigation into Tetra Laval Holding & Finance SA to determine whether it violated competition law.
“The Competition Board concluded the preliminary inquiry conducted into the claims that Tetra Laval Holding & Finance SA violated article 6 of Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition by abusing its dominant position with its exclusionary actions against its competitors,” the competition watchdog said in a statement.
“Having discussed the information and documents acquired and observations made in the preliminary inquiry in its meeting on December 29th, 2022, the Competition Board considered the findings significant and sufficient and took the decision numbered 22-57/904-M that an investigation shall be initiated about Tetra Laval Holding & Finance SA,” it added.
