Ukraine: Death toll from Russian missile attack on Dnipro rises to 35
At least 35 Ukrainian civilians were killed in a Russian missile attack on an apartment building in Dnipro, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Governor Valentyn Reznichenko said.
“The search and rescue operation in the Dnipro has been going on for almost 40 hours. At night, rescuers retrieved several more dead from under the rubble of a high-rise building destroyed by a Russian missile. At that time, the enemy attack claimed the lives of 35 residents of the building. Among them are two children,” Reznichenko wrote on Facebook.
Reznichenko said that 39 people were saved, and 75 others were injured, noting that among the injured are 14 children.
“The fate of another 35 residents of the building is unknown. The search for people under the rubble continues,” he added. (ILKHA)
