Several dead and wounded in blast outside Afghan foreign ministry
At least three people were killed and two others injured after a powerful blast occurred this afternoon in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Afghanistan's capital city Kabul.
Eyewitnesses said they have also heard a gunfight in the area following an explosion.
“Today around 4 o'clock there was an explosion on the road of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which unfortunately resulted in casualties. Security teams have reached the area, and the details of the incident will be shared with you later,” Khalid Zadran, a spokesman for the Kabul security department, wrote on Twitter.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the explosion. (ILKHA)
