Grain corridor saves whole world from grave hunger threat, Erdoğan says
Turkish President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at a meeting with the party’s provincial heads in Ankara.
Addressing a meeting with AK Party’s provincial heads, Erdoğan said: “We have prevented the spread of the fire in our region with the balanced and fair policies we have been pursuing in the Russia-Ukraine war, which not only disrupts the global economy’s functioning but also threatens peace.”
Stressing that every development in the region and the world inevitably affects Türkiye as well, Erdoğan said: “However, what distinguishes Türkiye from other countries is that it both has the infrastructure to minimize such adverse effects and the determination to turn crises into opportunities.”
“We have saved the whole world from the grip of a grave hunger threat with the grain corridor”
“The crisis, which has escalated due to the Russia-Ukraine war, has once again proven that so-called developed countries care about nothing but their own security and prosperity and that they can resort to any kind of method to protect them,” Erdoğan stated.
Stressing that Türkiye has prevented the spread of the fire in the region with the balanced and fair policies it has been pursuing in the Russia-Ukraine war, which not only disrupts the global economy’s functioning but also threatens peace, Erdoğan said: “We have saved the whole world from a grave hunger threat with the grain corridor, the implementation and operation of which we have enabled. We have fulfilled our humanitarian responsibility and kept the hopes of peace alive with our mediation efforts that resulted in a prisoner exchange.”
Before the meeting with provincial heads, Erdoğan attended AK Party's Mobile App launch. (ILKHA)
