Turkish troops kill 12 PKK/YPG members in northern Syria—Defense Ministry
Twelve PKK/YPG members were killed in the areas of Operation Peace Spring and Operation Olive Branch in northern Syria, Turkey’s Defense Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.

“Twelve PKK/YPG terrorists, who were preparing to attack in the Peace Spring and Olive Branch regions to disrupt the peace and security environment, were neutralized,” the statement said.
Turkish Defense Ministry uses the word “neutralized” in its statements instead of “killed”, ”captured” or “surrendered”. (ILKHA)
