Islamic Emirate wants to maintain friendly relations with all neighboring countries—spokesman
The spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Zabihullah Mujahid, said in a statement that the Islamic Emirate wants good ties with all its neighboring countries, including Pakistan.
Zabihullah Mujahid asked the Pakistan side to refrain from provocative remarks, adding that such statements are not in the interest of any side.
The spokesman underlined that “the Islamic Emirate is making every effort to make sure that the territory of Afghanistan is not being used against Pakistan or any other country.”
“The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is committed to this object. The Pakistani side also has a responsibility to control the situation and refrain from making baseless assertions and provocative remarks, since such assertions and mistrust are not acceptable to any side and is not in the interest of any,” Mujahid said.
“The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan values peace and stability in its own country, it wants peace and stability for the entire region and continues its efforts in this direction,” he added. (ILKHA)
