Turkish police arrest 11 ISIS-linked suspects in Mersin
Police arrested 11 ISIL-linked suspects in Türkiye’s southern Mersin Province on Friday.
Turkish police simultaneously stormed some addresses at dawn after the Public Prosecutor's Office in Mersin had issued arrest warrants for the suspects, who allegedly have links to the ISIS organization.
Reportedly, the suspects, including a French national, were involved in the logistics and financial structure of the organization and took part in armed activities in the ranks of the organization in conflict zones.
The suspects are being interrogated by police at the provincial police department.
The suspects will be transferred to the courthouse when their official procedures at the police department are completed. (ILKHA)
