Islamic Emirate condemns US interference in Afghanistan’s internal affairs
The spokesman of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Zabihullah Mujahid, condemned the criticism of US authorities regarding the suspension of women’s employment in foreign NGOs and termed it as interference in Afghanistan’s internal affairs.
“American officials should stop interfering in our internal matters. All those institutions wanting to operate in Afghanistan are obliged to comply with the rules and regulations of our country,” Mujahid wrote on Twitter.
“We do not allow anyone to talk rubbish or make threats regarding the decisions of our leaders under the title of Humanitarian aid,” he added.
This comes as the Ministry of Economy suspended women’s employment with NGOs operating in Afghanistan until further notice. (ILKHA)
