Reminding that female students’ education in Afghanistan has been suspended until the necessary arrangements are made, Ramanlı said that there are problems in many areas in Afghanistan, which has just survived the 20-year US occupation, due to a lack of resources, especially health, education, and economy.

Pointing out that this troublesome process can only be overcome with strong solidarity, Ramanlı said: “Women, who are the most important actors in the rebuilding and revival of the country in such a process, should not be deprived of their right to education. The Afghan administration should immediately create the physical conditions it needs and re-establish the education of girls and women by removing all obstacles. It is an inevitable obligation of the state to provide all kinds of physical conditions necessary to meet the right to education of its citizens.

Ramanlı said: “On the other hand, Islamic countries that do not recognize the Afghan government due to the pressure of the USA should politicize the problems brought about by deprivation and stop reading ghazals from the outside. Islamic countries, especially Turkey, should support Afghanistan, which survived the occupation, in this troubled process. Islamic countries should extend a helping hand to eliminate the physical infrastructure deficiencies in the country in all fields, especially in education. It is very possible to ensure that the new administration easily overcomes the existing problems with cultural, economic, and political solidarity.”

The situation in the prisons of the Zionist regime and the hall camp in Syria

Emphasizing that the Zionist occupation regime dragged the Palestinians held captive in dungeons to death by inhumane treatment and medical negligence, Ramanlı noted that 233 Palestinians have been martyred in Zionist dungeons since 1967, 74 of them due to medical negligence.

Ramanlı said: “International institutions and organizations, especially Islamic countries, should put pressure on the Zionist regime and ensure that the humanitarian needs of the prisoners in their hands are met and medical treatment is given, and these captives who are held persecuted should be freed as soon as possible.”

Ramanlı stated that the families held in the Al-Hol and Roj camps in Syria's Hasakah province were also exposed to attacks and violence, and said: “According to the United Nations (UN) data, a total of 56 thousand people, mostly women and children, live in the Al-Hol Camp alone. In 2021, a total of 74 children died in Al-Hol Camp, 8 of them through murder. According to the UN, more than a hundred people were killed in the camp between January 2021 and June 2022. This tragedy must be ended and the children living there must be brought to a safe environment. For this, all families with their children should be returned to their country of citizenship with a guarantee of security. Countries should also accept these nationals back. The UN and relevant institutions should take initiatives from the countries in question.”

The incidents in Paris

Regarding the recent incidents in Paris, the capital of France, Ramanlı noted the following: “Three people lost their lives in the armed attack on Ahmet Kaya Cultural Center in Paris. In France, where ethnic and religious discrimination has almost become a state policy, it is not surprising that the far right, which perpetrated massacres, gained strength. It has been stated that the attacker, who is affiliated with the far-right, has recently targeted immigrants and was released 11 days ago.  Unless deterrent sanctions against racism and discrimination are implemented, it will not be possible to prevent such aggressive actions in European countries. We condemn all forms of ethnic and religious discrimination and aggression.  Not only the aggressor but also the network he is connected to should be exposed to the punishment they deserve and possible acts of violence should be prevented. It is not possible to approve that the protest demonstrations that took place after the massacre turned into acts of violence on the street.  The right to protest and demonstrate should in no way exceed the legitimate circle, and should not turn into ravaging and vandalism.” (ILKHA)
