Explosion kills security official in Afghanistan
The head of the Badakhshan Security Department, Abdulhaq Abu Omar, was killed in a bomb attack in Faizabad, Afghanistan’s interior ministry said on Monday.
The bomb attack was carried out near the compound of the security department, Abdul Nafay Takor, a spokesman for the interior ministry, said.
Two other forces of the Islamic Emirate were injured in the attack, Takor added.
He also noted that security forces had arrested four people in connection to the incident.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack. (ILKHA)
