A 6.4 magnitude earthquake strikes California
A 6.4 magnitude earthquake off the coast of northern California on Tuesday, the US Geological Survey reported.

The epicenter of the earthquake was about 7.5 miles west-southwest of Ferndale, California, in Humboldt County, the USGS said.
No tsunami warning was issued after the earthquake.
